Artist Sherry Edmondson will talk about her journey of starting oil painting after years of painting in acrylics. The session will also cover the materials and resources for those wanting to experiment with oil painting.

Members are FREE, guests pay £5 at the venue.

A two-hour Nude Life Drawing session with a female model. This is for anyone with or without prior artistic experience. Poses ranging from 5 minutes to 30 minuter long. There is no tuition, we draw according to our own abilities. Adults only. Bring your own art supplies- pencils, charcoal, dry pastels or watercolors; easels/boards. No messy paints/oils please. 

Refreshments are on us.

Basingstoke Art Club are pleased to bring their exhibition of farm life to the Willis Museum. 

The show  has a theme- 'On the farm'. Member artist are showing their interpretations of the theme in a variety of styles and mediums. You can find us on fist floor gallery.

Our Artists painted  in the upstairs gallery of Willis Museum as a part of interaction with members of public during our exhibition. Amanda Bates, Sherry Edmondson , Arti Chauhan and Jillian Smith did a two hour stint.

SPRING EXHIBITION 2024

The Basingstoke Art Club put together another good show this year in Sherborne St John; with some fantastic work for sale in a wide range of media and styles. We had a good number of visitors and many sales were made.
